After many years of planning, the new “FlemXpress” gondola lift is currently under construction and is now almost complete. The last section to Cassons will go into operation at the end of 2025. The cable car is a world first with unique technology called “Rope-Taxi”. The railroad will not only provide direct rail access to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sardona above Flims, but will also make the area around Cassons easily accessible again.
